Penelope loved to linger in the halls before class talking to her friends, gossiping about various topics of interest she was a prep but had a heart of gold which meant she accepted basically anyone that talked to her popular or not. She waved as a girl she knew from one of her classes said 'hi' then went back to talking with her friends about boys etc the stuff girls talked about when alone with eachother, she placed a strand of hair behind her ear as she tightened her grip on her books.
She was just about to say something when the bell rang which meant she'd have to get to class but one tardy wouldn't kill her she was enjoying herself besides it happen to be one of her least favorite classes, she wasn't that found of the teacher to begin with so maybe for once she'd decide to skip or be tardy.
Thinking it through she rolled her eyes perhaps she'd just skip it because she happen to be getting a pretty good grade in it even if she didn't like it she still had to take it besides she was a straight a student which meant she was on the deans list as well as the honors list, probably one of the best students in half her classes.
Penny continued to talk with her friends ignoring the tardy bell one time of skipping class wouldn't harm her grades any of damage her personal record of perfect attendance if she missed just one class, no one found out about it including her parents who would ground her for sure if they found out their daughter had skipped a class.
See Penny was the perfect daughter always getting good grades going to school even if she was sick, even doing extra credit when she wasn't asked to even as a child she was a genies which meant she might just be able to graduate before she was supposed to, that was only if she had all the credits she needed by junior year which was three years away.
