•newport beach high school, one of the many high schools in california. it has a very good reputation, and most of the students that apply themselves have a great shot in getting into the college of their choice. now, like any other high school, the actual school work is far from the minds of the fourteen-eighteen year old students. social lives rule passing grades, and for some, it means life or death to be popular. to others, it is the exact opposite. also, like other high schools, all kinds of people attend newport beach high. cliques mix and mingle, people fall and rise on a weekly basis. welcome to high school.
