Vans Warped Tour '08 RPG
Warped Tour is a music and extreme sports festival, created in 1994 by Kevin Lyman and sponsored by many names including the BMX and skateboarding shoe-manufacturer, Vans.
The tour is held in venues, usually parking lots or fields upon which the stages and other structures are erected, and travels to different cities nationally and internationally over the course of the summer. It can feature as many as one-hundred bands per show, with many bands playing all at once over several different stages. Bands play for approximately thirty minutes each, though one band is nominated by popular vote to play an encore of an extra ten minutes.
When they aren't on stage or working, the bands and crew are free to do whatever they like. Explore the tour grounds, watch other bands perform, hang out in the VIP Only area, or do whatever they want to with their free time.
Just about everything is expected on Warped Tour, as they have probably seen it all already by now. Drugs, alcohol, sex, conflict, you name it, they've seen it.
It's late spring 2008. The line-up has been announced, the bands have arrived, and the tour is ready to begin.
