Kineerine Academy. This school is located in California, next to the beaches, and not that far from Los Angeles. Red and white are the school colors, while Wildcats are the mascot. Though, in this school, nobody cares what the colors or mascot is. Some would say this academy was just like any other. They're lying.
Only the rich kids or ones with scholarships are able to go to Kineerine. You have to have a talent, whether it's art, sports, or theater. Obviously, many people would think this academy is the best for all teens, and the teachers are the best. They're wrong. This school is filled with students that look good, but certainly don't act like it. Teachers have their secrets, and even the principal can be dirty sometimes.
Rumors. Everyone makes them, and everyone is a victim. New kid? Don't worry, someone will make up something for you. Even if you haven't done a thing at the school, students will surely think of something that would embarrass you. The really mean students can make a rumor about you even if you aren't even at the school yet. Harsh, yes. Do they care? Not at all.
Drama? Yes. Around every corner could be a surprising make-up, or in a classroom, there could be an unlikely couple. That isn't just it though. Things may get even more dramatic, as there are major car crashes, girls getting pregnant and maybe even some teachers that cause it. Nobody ever knows what will happen next. It's just unpredictable.
Lies. Everywhere. You have to lie to explain a rumor, because nobody would believe "I didn't do that!" You have to lie to your parents if you're going to a club or party. You also have to lie if someone finds out your deepest darkest secret. How else are you going to get through the school year? To get through this academy, you're going to have to:
